The National Council of La Raza (NCLR) wrapped up its annual conference at the Los Angeles Convention Center Saturday night with a 3-hour “Night of Comedy”, an odd culmination for an extremist,  revolutionary, racist organization dedicated to annexing America’s southwest for the mythical Mexican kingdom of Aztlan and waging war “on the northern front” against the United States in order to accomplish that goal.

An NCLR ”night of comedy”is the rough equivalent of Adolph Hitler conducting a evening of fun entertainment after his Nazis burned the Reichstag or Chairman Mao Zedong staging a celebratory party on the eve of his bloody Long March and, to be sure, the NCLR does have much in common with Hitler and Mao as well as with Joseph Stalin and Fidel Castro.

To date, La Raza has not engaged in the genocides committed by those despots, but give them time; that incendiary remark is not an opinion but rather based on La Raza threats and public mission statements.

For example, a La Raza rally speaker at UCLA ended his anti-American tirade by saying, “Our enemy is capitalism, imperialism.” La Raza President Janet Murguia topped that when she appeared on Al Sharpton’s radio show and called on blacks and Hispanics to team up against the common enemy in a race war against the rest of us.

Also, a mission statement by La Raza’s even more-militant student subsidiary, MEChA, the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán, explains that the group “was founded on the principles of self-determination for the liberation of our people.” Translation: Revolution.

MEChA has adopted the chilling Plan Espiritual de Aztlán (Spiritual Plan of Aztlán), which outlines its casus belli

The Plan reads, in part, “In the spirit of a new people that is conscious not only of its proud historical heritage but also of the brutal gringo invasion of our territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern land of Aztlan from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their birth and consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that the call of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable destiny.” . . .
