Planned Parenthood and the Kingdom of Politics

Planned Parenthood and the Kingdom of Politics

The time-honored journalistic axiom that a dog biting a man does not constitute news whereas a man biting a dog is certainly news seems to have a curious corollary today namely that politically-favored groups and organizations which repeatedly, brazenly violate the law isn’t news but that those who oppose and expose those crimes are eminently newsworthy–and criticized.

The Planned Parenthood Federation of America, better known as Planned Parenthood, the U.S. branch of the International Planned Parenthood Federation, is easily the most criminal of those entities that are given virtual carte blanche to continually commit egregious crimes in America without legal repercussions.

Indeed, the PPFA, a billion dollar corporation, has not only been granted freedom from official investigation and criminal prosecution but is subsidized by American taxpayers to the tune of $540.6 million according to PPFA’s Annual Report for 2012-2013 or 45% of its total $1.21 billion revenue.

It’s far from coincidental that Planned Parenthood reported its “clinics” performed 327,166 abortions during the year ending September 30, 2012, by far the most of any abortion mill in the United States, or that the PPFA is one of those groups absolved of all legal responsibilities for criminal activities.

After all, legalized execution of pre-born human beings has been the law of our land for forty-one years now, President Barack Hussein Obama heartily endorses the “procedure,” and Obamacare pays for it so why shouldn’t taxpayers subsidize it for the same reasons we subsidize public transportation projects and research into the mating habits of red squirrels in heat?

One major reason is that, unlike subway builders and squirrel researchers, PPFA has continuously engaged in illegal acts, although abortionists and their fellow travelers, liberal-leftist politicians and the mainstream media, don’t regard that established fact anywhere near sufficient cause to deny Planned Parenthood their support or taxpayer subsidization.

Human nature and twisted deviation being what they are, criminals usually interpret a lack of law enforcement as the equivalent of approbation and Planned Parenthood has gotten that un-subtle message loudly and clearly as evidenced by their refusal to issue cease and desist orders to their workers to stop breaking the law.

The most recent examples of the PPFA’s contempt for the law . . . (Read more at http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=38120.)

Holly Fisher Bugs the Left

Holly Fisher Bugs the Left

There’s something about political correctness and related liberal-leftist intolerance toward certain women that I can’t quite put my finger on.  A war on women is indeed being waged in America today, a selective war waged by so-called “progressives” targeting mainly women who take issue with their nonsensical and disturbed attitudes but why are they so incensed?

Could their irrational distaste and anger toward good and decent people spring from their unnatural impulses to despise anyone who  possesses a fundamental sense of decency and morality or is it because good and decent women represent a threat to their perverted life view and feed into their innate sense of self-hating inferiority?

I think both.

Of course, their visceral, continuing contempt for former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin was and is rooted in the fact Mrs. Palin is a conservative, political adversary.  However, the venom has gone far beyond her politics to personal abuse of her family and her religious faith and everything connected with those politically-irrelevant issues.

Another patriotic American, Holly Fisher, recently raised the mindless ire of the lib-left and violated PC ”principles” by daring to assert her First and Second Amendment rights, publicize her Christianity, and demonstrate her respect for human life.
On Independence Day, Holly, a mother of three kids whose husband is serving in the U.S. Army and who is evidently not a big fan of President Barack Hussein Obama, posted two photos on Twitter, one showing her holding a Bible and an AR-15 with an American flag as a backdrop, the other a shot of her sporting a “Pro Life” tee shirt as she carried a Chick-fil-A cup outside a Hobby Lobby store.

As all but low information voters know, ultra-tolerant ”progressives” tolerate everyone and everything–as long as the individuals and ideas involved conform to their rigid philosophy . . . (Read more at http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=38044.)

Chelsea, Hillary, Kids, and Boko Haram

Chelsea, Hillary, Kids, and Boko Haram

Large segments of Barack Hussein Obama’s mainstream media have been all agog of late not nearly so much over the horrors of Benghazi, the multiplicity of scandals in the president’s administration, or even the potentiality of  World War III beginning in Ukraine but rather in the imminent grandmotherhood of Hillary Rodham Clinton.

As a grandfather of five, and counting, I can semi-share the excitement over the birth of Chelsea Victoria Clinton Mezvinsky’s new baby who will become the first grandchild of the former president and his very accomplished wife.

Thirty-four year old Chelsea rarely if ever uses her married name, Mezvinsky, but I’m certain her husband of four years, investment banker Marc Mezvinsky, is even more thrilled than I over the upcoming, blessed event especially since his wife has ostensibly been chosen to be the Democrat Party standard bearer down the line which could make their baby a lady or gentleman-in-waiting for that honor.

It’s often been suggested in Obama’s media, previously the Clinton media, that Mrs. Clinton-Mezvinsky is being carefully groomed as a future Democrat candidate for the presidency despite the reality that, at this point in her life, she has fewer qualifications for that position than Barack Obama had.

Aside from an ineffectual stint as a campaigner for her mother in 2008, she has had little involvement in public life unless serving as co-chairperson for her father’s Clinton Foundation, board member on the School of American Ballet, and as a lackluster reporter on “Rock Center” and “NBC Nightly News” qualify.

As Tim Graham, a director at the Media Research Center, said of Chelsea, “She doesn’t have the charisma” to make it big in politics.  Also, she once surprisingly and insensitively told a child reporter, “I’m sorry, I don’t talk to the press and that applies to you, unfortunately, even though I think you’re cute.”

Wasn’t overflowing sensitivity one of Bill “I feel your pain” Clinton’s hallmarks?

However, far more indicative of both Chelsea’s and Hillary’s characters is their evident disregard for human life, although  Hillary does care deeply for those unfortunate Nigerian girls and their kidnappers, an Islamic, al Qaeda-affiliated group of terrorist thugs that calls itself Boko Haram, loosely meaning “Western education is a sin.”

In 2013, the US belatedly listed Boko Haram as a foreign terrorist organization, a listing delayed due to Mrs. Clinton’s State Department’s refusal to accept that designation although she finally signed on to the condemnation of Boko Haram following the kidnapping and threatened enslavement of the girls.

In retrospect, as she prepared another run for the highest office in the land, Hillary has now characterized the kidnapping as “an act of terrorism [that] really merits the fullest response possible.”

Really?  So, Boko Haram’s years-long history of violence and murder, its bombings and assassinations, its militant commitment to establishing an Islamic state as a recruiting ground for jihadis, and its dedication to the idea that women are the property of husbands and mere instruments of reproduction, didn’t merit any response from your State Department?

Obviously not.

On the other hand, Hillary Clinton’s response to the issue of extinguishing pre-born human lives has never been ambivalent . . . (Read more at http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=37069.)
