It’s rare that the scourge of Planet Earth ever engages in public displays of humor but occasionally, if accidentally, radical Muslim fruitcakes do sometimes practice policies that can best be classified as farcical rather than in their more customary acts of domestic and international terrorism.

Westerners are much more familiar with Islamic lunatics bombing and wreaking havoc on their own defenseless people as well as innocents in other nations they regard as Great or Lesser Satans and miscellaneous enemies they have warred against for centuries than in entertaining anyone.

Muslims typically just kill their foes in a variety of horrendous ways such as when they brutally behead American and British journalists.

They also drag women like 25 year old Coptic Christian Mary Sameh George from her car in Cairo for the crime of hanging a cross from her rearview mirror and further punished her by beating her, slitting her throat, and stabbing her to death while she was trying to deliver medicine to a sick, elderly woman.

However, none of that is meant to suggest Allah is not a just god, nor a god devoid of a decent sense of humor.

According to the People’sCube.com, one of Islam’s most recent exhibitions of such jocularity followed up last year’s International Woman’s Day story concerning Indonesia’s prohibitions on female flatulence in Indonesia.  

Local Indonesian female flatulence expert, Fartima Passagasiya, discussed how that government prohibition has benefited women and minorities over the course of the last year.

From the outset, when Barack Hussein Obama first announced his candidacy for the presidency of the United States in 2007 and through Election Day, Americans of every political stripe have had serious, if often belated, misgivings regarding a candidate with minimal qualifications and experience with all of two years as a U.S. senator presumptuously vying for the highest office in the land and the position as leader of the Free World. 

Unfortunately and wrongly, those concerns were frequently dismissed as baseless reflections of racial prejudice against an African-American.

A few days before that election, liberal Charlie Rose made no reference to that canard but astoundingly admitted to liberal Tom Brokaw on national television that, “I don’t know what Barack Obama’s worldview is.”  Brokaw responded, “No, I don’t either” and added that, “We don’t know a lot about Barack Obama and the universe of his thinking about foreign policy” or the people advising him. 

In essence, two of Obama ‘s staunchest supporters were conceding that their chosen presidential candidate was a total enigma.  

In short order, although to my knowledge neither Rose nor Brokaw have ever reiterated their qualms, they and the American people have learned a great deal about Obama’s thinking on many issues and about his advisers and we are learning more and more every day about his thinking on both foreign and domestic affairs. 

Many of his ideologically-driven thoughts and actions have reinforced the view that Obama was woefully and dangerously unprepared for his office.  

For example, just recently, America’s commander in chief decided that the deadly Ebola virus currently confined mostly to west Africa represents a far greater threat to America and the world than any other problems including ISIS terrorists who have vowed to visit their murderous movement on our country and the rest of Western civilization.

There exists no reasonable doubt that Ebola represents a significant danger to Americans’ health and safety but the virus  hardly poses an imminent threat anywhere near comparable to ISIS.

In the unlikely event Obama is right in his comparative threat assessment of Ebola, which the UN Security Council has also called a danger to world peace–without singling out the virus as the most pressing world problem–he felt it merited dispatching at least 3,000 combat troops to Liberia to set up treatment centers in lieu of sending them to Iraq despite the fact they are trained for combat and not for construction missions.

Likewise, Obama has determined that in order to crush ISIS in the Mid East, “boots on the ground” are unnecessary and that America’s potent air power, in conjunction with assistance from our coalition allies, is sufficient to wipe out 32,000 ISIS terrorists.

Fourteen centuries ago, Islam’s founder, the “holy” Prophet Muhammad, set the standard for his religion’s treatment of young girls and women when he married young Aisha when he was in his fifties.

One of his many wives, Aisha was all of six or seven years old at the time although she supposedly remained with her parents until she attained the unripe age of nine or ten when her marriage to Muhammad was consummated in the holy city of Medina. 

Aisha ultimately evolved into the ”Mother of the Believers,” according to Islam’s holy Quran. Today, she might be classified in some quarters as a “baby momma.”

Although marriages of young girls to elderly men in ancient times weren’t extremely unusual, nowadays such practices are regarded and punishable as child abuse and pedophilia in most cultures, except in Muslim-dominated societies where they are considered normal and legal under sharia law.

However, some contemporary followers of Muhammad, in accord with the Quran’s teachings that females are second class  creatures who deserve fewer rights and respect than animals and are generally seen as lower life forms as evidenced by Muslim men who frequently treat women and girls with outright contempt.

And, what could be more contemptuous than subjecting them to rape and even gang rape as a matter of either public policy or societal acceptance?

Quarnic teachings with respect to women can be ambivalent and confusing, a fact that plays a major role in Muslim treatment of the fair sex and even raping them.

On the one hand, the sex-obsessed Quran preaches gender equality, although males are described as” a degree above females,” which seems anything but equal.

That one degree is noteworthy since the Quran is filled with reminders that men are superior to women in the home and under the law: Husbands are free to dictate their wives’ bedroom behavior, marry as often as they want, and divorce their wives in part because women (and their children) are the guileful enemies men and their wives are “unclean,” especially during and after menstruating when they should be shunned like the plague.

Legally, women are considered worth half the value of men, are required to produce four male witnesses if they claim they were raped, are permitted to have only one husband at a time, are entitled to just half their rightful inheritances, must obey their husbands and, if they refuse sex or disobey, must be beaten into submission.

Despite Islam’s pretensions of moral rectitude, the religion of peace is neither moral nor peaceful as demonstrated by the applications of Quranic principles to the people Muslims defeat in war and by the interminable, bloody wars in which the followers of Muhammad engaged both under the leasership of their warrior prophet and after his death and the Crusades. . . Obama's Complicity in the Beheading of James Foley

 

President Barack Hussein Obama interrupted his latest Martha’s Vineyard vacation to devote all of five minutes in condemning in no uncertain terms the grisly, videotaped beheading of American photojournalist James Foley and the Muslim perpetrators of that horrendous crime before hopping on his motorcade to tend to more important business, working on his golf game.

Well, he didn’t actually condemn adherents to the religion of peace but he defiantly did say, “One thing we can all agree on is a group like ISIL has no place in the 21st century.”

That alone, in his mind, would be more than sufficient to deter a threatened second beheading of an American should the U.S. continue bombing the barbaric, Islamic terrorists.

If not in name, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), al-Qaeda’s philosophical heirs, are virtually synonymous, especially in regard to their murderous jihadist practices and their quest for a worldwide caliphate based on Sharia law and the Koran. 

If successful, their movement would effectively turn back the world’s clock to the time of the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s seventh century. 

From an expedient political point of view, it’s eminently comprehensible why Obama would abbreviate his statement on James Foley’s brutal decapitation. 

As with the assassination of U.S. Major General Harold Greene in Afghanistan on August 5th, the first killing of an American general in a war zone in 141 years, to draw excessive attention to either tragedy would only vividly highlight yet other failures of his policies so our commander in chief chose to skip Greene’s funeral and minimize his comments on Foley’s murder. 

With regard to the latter, Obama had an even greater incentive to go golfing instead of elaborating on the moral degradation of Islam–his direct complicity in Foley’s kidnapping and torture two years ago as well as his involvement in Foley's brutal decapitation. . . Former United Nations ambassador John Bolton recently observed that because of our president’s leadership deficits,  “the world’s descending into chaos,” a chaos that could result in anarchy should America continue to retreat from its responsibilities.

Ambassador Bolton was referring to foreign affairs but his ominous warning could apply equally to the incipient, chaotic, domestic anarchy on America’s horizon attributable to the commander in chief.

My bride of 46 years believes that she would prefer not to live in interesting times, referring to the supposedly apocryphal, ancient Chinese curse which may be based on a Chinese saying that it’s “better to live as a dog in an era of peace than a man in times of trouble.” (Wikipedia)

Both interpretations amount to the same thing, namely that “interesting times” pretty much equates with the idea that even mongrels are better off living their lives in peace rather than human beings living amid conflict.

Apocryphal or not, the times Americans are currently living in and enduring are times that could certainly be characterized as “interesting” as well as unprecedented, a period in history during which most of us may not yet exactly be living like dogs, (which the Chinese eat, along with cats), but which can readily be categorized as troubling for anyone relatively conscious of the world we live in and liberal-leftists are easily the chief contributing factors to our disturbing, interesting times and our troubled minds.

When officials in the Obama administration and supposedly erudite pundits and other members of the intelligentsia pursue policies, make statements and allegations at variance with reason, should we blindly accept their obviously radical ideas and decisions? 

What if they are spewing opinions so far removed from the realm of truth, are we still expected to listen up and heed them?

Whatever Americans think and feel about the country and its people, few of us would argue that the Jewish state of Israel is not totally justified in retaliating against Hamas in Gaza. 

In “Brave New World,” Aldous Huxley wrote of that totalitarian world’s dictum that, “Ending is better than mending.”  Mending the rifts between Israel and Hamas, healing the enmity between Israel and its Islamic enemies is as beyond rational expectation as mending the senseless rift between America and Islam. 

Muslim leaders contend that 9/11, and the attacks which preceded it–the first bombing of the WTC in 1993, the bombings of our embassies and the USS Cole as well as all the subsequent threats–were perpetrated by Islamic extremists, jihadists not representative of the world’s 1.2 billion followers of Muhammad and the Koran.  Yet, no Islamic state has ever unequivocally denounced those extremists or taken forceful actions to rein them in. 

Like people, nations are known by the company they keep.

Try to imagine tens of thousands of deadly rockets raining down on American cities, everywhere from Oregon to Nebraska to Alabama to New York, and hundreds of millions of us hiding in bomb shelters in the hope we and our families could avoid being blown to bits.  That grisly scene is replicated daily on a smaller scale in Israel and its population of six million as contrasted with our 314,000,000 residents.

Now, try to visualize the United States of America, the last standing superpower on the planet, arguably the most powerful nation in the world and the home of the supposed leader of the Free World, patiently sitting, waiting, and dawdling, insanely anticipating the next crazed Islamic attack on our homeland as if we were nothing more than a banana republic awaiting another revolution.

We’ve deceived ourselves into thinking that we’ve done all that’s humanly possible to forestall another 9-11, or worse, even as we prepare for the worst.  Even liberal-leftists such as Sen. Diane Feinstein concede we are no safer now than we were thirteen years ago.

What’s absent from that terrifying picture is the reality that there is no need for Americans to hunker down and prep for catastrophe if only we would demand our country assert its unrivaled power and threaten to decimate not only known Islamic terrorists but every last remnant of their enclaves and, if and when the unthinkable happens, if we are attacked again, following through on our warning by returning Muslim lands to the seventh century, a time which many of them never left.

Is that solution brutal and merciless?  Yes, it is.  Is it potentially ruinous of America’s reputation in the world?  It could be.  Is it unprecedented?  In scope, perhaps.

Thank goodness that, at least according to President Barack Hussein Obama, the war in Iraq is finally over. 

That was certainly the implication when our president fulfilled a campaign pledge by withdrawing most U.S. troops in 2009 thereby washing his hands of the conflict after six bloody years during which we lost 4,486 brave soldiers and 32,222 members of the military were wounded.

Surely, Obama would not have withdrawn our forces had hostilities not ceased.  That would have effectively declared our troops had wasted their time and blood, suffered tens of thousands injuries and given their lives for nothing, and that America had pissed away a trillion dollars of our national treasure on a useless effort.

Well, that’s exactly what our president did and what happened in Iraq subsequent to our bug-out has proven how disastrous fulfilling a campaign promise can be.  Considering that he has failed to come through on most of his hopey-changey pledges, it’s odd that prematurely pulling out of Iraq was so near the top of his priority list, no?

I guess the scholar Obama never studied Gen. Douglas MacArthur who wisely said it makes no sense to get involved in a war unless you were prepared to win it.

It’s not the purpose here to evaluate the merits of the Iraq War which, at this point, will probably go down in history as a defeat, along with our Korea and Viet Nam failures.

Suffice to say, many reports in 2003 had indicated Saddam Hussein still possessed the deadly weapons of mass destruction he had already  employed against his own people and it was widely felt, even by such venerable Democrats as Sen. Ted Kennedy, that he wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.  The fact those WMDs were never found is most likely not attributable to President George W. Bush’s evil designs as much as to Hussein having relocated them in anticipation of an invasion.

That said, following Obama’s bug-out, Iraq has gradually descended into utter chaos as Islamic Sunnis and Shiites reignited their age-old, never ending, fratricidal, civil war.  Many Iraqis have came to wonder whether their lives under the mad Saddam and his psychopathic sons, Uday and Qusay, may have been preferable to living under their corrupt Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

Iraqi Christians, however, were much less ambivalent over their Sophie’s Choice than Sunnis and Shiites.  For the most part, they were treated no more brutally than Muslims under the Hussein clan.  That situation, that treatment, radically changed after America abandoned them. . . Now that Ramadan, the holy ninth month of the Islamic calendar when Muslims fast from dawn until sunset, refrain from eating, drinking, smoking, and sexual relations, is over, they can get back full-time to their usual activities–committing world-wide murder and mayhem in the name of Allah and Muhammad and attempting to establish a worldwide caliphate to exact bloody revenge for the Crusades. 

Few sane people believe Islam is or ever was a “religion of peace.”  Muslims made that claim following their massacre of three thousand innocent people on September 11th, 2001 in an effort to deter Americans from torching every mosque in the United States and to discourage us from hanging every Muslim in America from a tree.

As sweet as those actions might have seemed at the time, such mindless vengeance would have been both illegal and morally wrong in view of the fact that not every adherent of Islam attacked us thirteen years ago, although reports indicate Muslims throughout the world were ecstatic over the utter devastation of that day.

Spilling the blood of innocents they consider infidels, that is, anyone who does not subscribe to the teachings of Muhammad, has been the most popular indoor and outdoor sport in Muslim lands for thirteen centuries.  Muhammad, The Holy Prophet, invented the Islamic religion soon after the Christian Angel Gabriel appeared to him in a Meccan cave around 613 A.D. and revealed the wishes of God Almighty.

It’s not clear if Allah, Arabic for God, instructed Muhammad on the proper methods of murdering infidels anymore than it’s known whether Gabriel conferred an imprimatur on his marriage to eight year old Aisha. 

However, Muhammad’s followers have honed in on that marriage precedent and killing as well as the art of conducting war against infidels to perfection and, when no non-Islamists were unavailable, against fellow Muslims when necessary. 

Muslims adopted the practice of marrying children and the genital mutilation of young girls predicated on their belief that females are fundamentally oversexed, dirty excuses for human beings who required cleansing through marriage to nice, old men and repression of their loose sexual proclivities by female genital cutting or female circumcision, the ritual removal of their external genitalia.

In Edinburgh, Scotland, Chelsea Lambie, 18, and two older friends were convicted of threatening and abusive behavior and sentenced to a year in jail last Friday.  Their threatening and abusive crime?  Throwing uncooked bacon at the window of an Edinburgh mosque in January, 2013 and then having the audacity to wrap raw bacon around the mosque’s door handles.

Lambie’s evil associate, Douglas Cruikshank, was sentenced to nine months in the clinker because he copped a plea and another accomplice in the Great Scottish Bacon Scandal, Wayne Stilwel, pled guilty and received 10 months behind bars.

Muslims and traditionalist Jews, of course, aren’t big fans of bacon or any other pork products and both prohibit the consumption of meat from a pig for similar but different reasons.

As spelled out in the Old Testament (Leviticus 11:7-8), “And the pig, because it has a cloven hoof that is completely split, but will not regurgitate its cud; it is unclean for you. You shall not eat of their flesh, and you shall not touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you.”  

More indulgent Islamic law, (Quran, Al-Baqara 2:173), states that, ”He has made unlawful for you that which dies of itself and blood and the flesh of swine and that on which the name of any other than Allah has been invoked. But he who is driven by necessity, being neither disobedient nor exceeding the limit, then surely, Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful.”

In other words, Jews reject pigs due to their cloven hooves, their failure to vomit, and the fact they are dirty whereas Muslims frown on the pig because it “dies of itself,” (whatever that means–perhaps that they’re suicidal?)–but, in a pinch, Muslims are forgiven by merciful Allah should they eat a pork chop or two as long as they don’t make a habit of it. 

Apparently, Ms. Lambie, a proud member of the Scottish Defence League, and her fellow swine were oblivious of the Quran’s ancient rules and regulations, or they didn’t give a damn about them and were pissed that Muslims had taken control of huge swaths of the United Kingdom.
